On Saturday, June 26th the City of Detroit received 6 inches of rain, impacting residents across the city. Canfield Consortium partnered with photographer and videographer, Jermaine Moore of JEM Photography to develop a mini-documentary to capture the stories of impact of the June 26th flooding across East Canfield Village. We are proud to share that this film was made by and for legacy residents of East Canfield Village. You can view the video at this link
The Canfield Consortium CDC is dedicated to sustain a thriving, economically diverse community in East Canfield Village through a focus on neighborhood stabilization, affordable housing options, access to quality jobs and transit, preservation of green spaces, and the development and empowerment of legacy Detroit residents whose voices are not otherwise heard.
