Now in its seventh year, The Power of One Dedicated Woman Awards recognize unsung leaders making a difference in Detroit communities. This year’s six honorees serve different Detroit neighborhoods and work to meet diverse community needs—from Brightmoor to Islandview, and from mutual aid to neighborhood beautification to human trafficking.
